Job Title: Account Manager - Critical Power

Location: Remote + 50% travel (Looking for someone in East coast or Texas)

Duration: Fulltime

Salary : $110K - $130K yearly

Responsibilities:

\n
• Own and grow a strategic book of business across the Energy segment:
\n
• Utilities: IOUs, munis, co-ops, and transmission & distribution programs
\n
• Oil & Gas: upstream, midstream, downstream, and refining
\n
• EV: charging infrastructure, depots, and fleet electrification
\n
• Renewables: solar, wind, battery storage, and clean power
\n
• Sell client’s critical power portfolio—transformers, switchgear, breakers, and distribution equipment—into new and existing energy accounts
\n
• Activate and expand key customer relationships you already hold within the energy sector
\n
• Develop segment-specific sales strategies and go-to-market campaigns
\n
• Interpret one-line diagrams and MEP drawings and perform accurate material takeoffs
\n
• Track customer specifications, project timelines, and utility technical requirements
\n
• Lead customer presentations, proposal reviews, and on-site meetings
\n
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, quoting, and factory teams to scope and deliver
\n
• Attend industry trade shows, customer site visits, and facility tours
\n
• Maintain CRM for pipeline tracking and forecasting
\n

Minimum Requirements:

\n
• 5+ years of critical power sales experience selling critical power equipment and/or transformers
\n
• Key customer relationships with Energy customers — Utilities, Oil & Gas, EV, or Renewables — that you can activate on day one
\n
• Deep familiarity with at least one Energy sub-segment and credibility across the others
\n
• Ability to read electrical one-lines, takeoffs, and construction drawings
\n
• Proven ability to lead complex, long-cycle deals with technical decision makers
\n
• CRM fluency (Ms Dynamics, Salesforce, or HubSpot)
\n
• Based in Texas or on the East Coast, with willingness to travel up to 50%
\n
